I watched a video from some Emma girl.
This exercise she does says will change your life within 30 days.
Which I'm remembering when I was trying to wake myself up earlier, I started tapping at my forehead to try to keep myself awake. And so I naturally just did an EFT and affirmations with it which I hadn’t done for a few weeks or so.
But anyway, I watched this video and it was essentially, you're gonna get out a piece of paper and you're gonna draw a line down the middle, and on the left side at the top you write “old story.”
And under that you write down the beliefs, specifically your limiting beliefs that are keeping you stuck in the old story.
Her examples I think we're like, you have to work harder in order to receive money, or you don't attract aligned connections in your life or that kind of thing.
And then on the right side, you write the new story, and it's essentially from the version of you that has all of those things that you want.
So they have the confidence, the easy and abundance of opportunities, they have the aligned connections, they make money effortlessly, like that kind of thing.
And you're going to write down what that new version would tell you about these limiting beliefs, with these new beliefs.
I don’t really remember her examples but things like
I attract aligned connections with ease, opportunities flow freely and effortlessly to me, even when I’m at ease. I attract opportunities with ease. I make money easily and effortlessly, even while I'm at ease...
I don't have to work harder to make money, I’m naturally magnetic to money, like those kinds of things.
After you have the new beliefs from your new story, on your voice notes, you go through and record yourself repeating the new beliefs/affirmations with a healing frequency playing in the background.
Her example is like 528, which is the love frequency..
And you record them, with a healing frequency in the background, like, on YouTube or something.
After you’ve recorded them, then you listen to it first thing in the morning
(because obviously your subconscious is easier to program right away when you wake up and as you're falling asleep)
And then she claims within 30 days and says it doesn't even take that long. Within two weeks, you'll notice a difference. You'll be a completely different person. yada, yada, yada.
I’m wondering if wording the affirmations as “I believe..” would make a larger impact.
But.. I thought about it, and it's like, I don't even have the ambition to do that at this point.
I think it's..
I don't know if it's resistance in the sense that I know it works, and I'm terrified of what that means.
Like, the change in my life that it would cause instability potentially.
Or if it’s because I’ve been feeling cynical or pessimistic lately..
Perhaps I think I'm concerned about potentially what I would have to do in that life, in that new life, that maybe I don't want, but I feel like that's also some kind of a scarcity or limiting belief.
Like scarcity in terms of time freedom, energy, that kind of thing.. Where I think I'm going to have to work harder at that point in order to maintain that life.
But then I also am wondering if it's not necessarily anything to do with that and if it has more to do with I just don't think it's gonna work.
But then, in my mind, I'm like, okay, well, why not try it?
I love to try new things and will try almost anything twice.
But part of it is there are so many other habits that I'm working on building that it takes conscious, consistent work to do that as well.
Like, it's not just simple to magically change your habit overnight that I'm gonna force myself to listen to this every single morning right when I wake up.
It doesn’t always work like that and it usually sets people up for failure, frequently creating an additional feeling of unsafety in the body or lack of self trust.
I also saw this video where it was like past tense neural reprogramming where she apparently used that specific one to grow her business of some kind to 1.2 million within a year.
Something about her, I do not enjoy listening to her talk, I don't know what it is.
That was the second one from her to pop up on my feed recently because I had watched one from someone else that I liked.
I was trying to understand if it has something to do with issues revolving around working through acceptance of my own voice since I damaged it for my ex, or if it's just something about her.
I am immediately like put off. Like I get a bad feeling from her.
And usually when I get that, I’ve noticed over time that it's accurate.
It's my intuition coming through of that's not a good person, that's not somebody that's safe, that's not somebody that's... wonderful to associate with, like, there’s some kind of wounding or terms that are out of alignment.
I don't know what it is.
And I try to dissect or analyze whether or not it's my own prejudice or projection versus like an actual reading of their energy, because I don’t want to unfairly read someone.
I feel like it's a reading of their energy in this instance.
There's something about her that is performative or something here is not accurate or in alignment with what she’s claiming, or inauthentic.
I also saw a video the other day, which I do kind of want to try, but haven't.
Granted, I don't think that's necessarily going to work either. But is probably my pessimism from things lately.
I don’t remember what her name was unfortunately.
But this.. I'm gonna describe it how I would describe it, not exactly how the woman did.
Essentially you reverse engineer the affirmations from your future self, the life that you're wanting to live.
I am abundant again, money flows freely and easily to me now. I attract high paying clients that get massive transformations out of my work with them, that kind of thing.
So currently, my focus is building new daily habits like I love to dress up every day. I love to do my makeup every day. I love to wash my hair every day. I love to put on my lotions, my body creams and face creams. And I love to work out every day, etc..
Whatever affirmations that are in alignment with the habits or way your highest/future self is living or has already achieved your goals.
You take these affirmations, and you make a voice note, and you play a healing frequency as well in the background.
And you record yourself reading off the affirmation out loud, then repeat the affirmation in your head so that it leaves a blank spot on the recording.
Then read the next affirmation out loud, repeat it in your head to leave a blank spot in the recording with just the frequency playing again.
After you’ve done that with all of the affirmations, like 8 or so of them, you let the healing frequency play for 30 seconds after your last repeat in your head.
Then what you do is you take that recording and go to a mirror when you wake up, and possibly multiple times a day for best results.
And you play that recording.
You let the affirmation play while you’re doing an EFT in the mirror, so tapping on your hand to start, your crown, your third eye, your face, your chest, your usual spots.
Which that makes me wonder if there are certain spots on our body that are best for doing EFT with? I’ve just done what other people have done or what feels good.
But continue tapping while repeating the affirmation out loud looking at yourself in the mirror.
And then after the first round, those thirty seconds of just healing frequency playing are for “havening” which creates safety in the body.
Like gently fluttering your hands up and down each part of your upper arm at the same time (so your forearms are crossed over each other) or maybe doing butterfly taps would work as well.
And you do three rounds or sets of EFT/affirmation recording and havening in the mirror.
Essentially it’s combining five different things into one or something.
I don't remember exactly but you’re doing identity work, subconscious work, and nervous system work with creating safety in the body for your new identity.
Which I would think would help speed up the evolving process combining them and is why I would be more inclined to try that option.
I think I should include some kind of affirmation where my website gets hundreds of thousands of viewers.
Or maybe millions.
I think I'm going too low with hundreds of thousands, like dare to dream bigger babe.
So my website gets millions of viewers every single month.
I’ll have to come up with the affirmations that are the most important for where I’m at now and my goals, but I feel like she said something about 8 specifically being the most she would do.
Too many probably doesn’t work out so well.
