Something that I've been noticing lately is this rage that's been bubbling up inside of me and it only seems to happen when I see people trying to justify their bigotry.
I truly cannot grasp how someone can think that they're better than somebody else, simply because of their gender, skin color, sexuality, or religion.
That's so illogical to me and so irrational.
It makes absolutely no sense, and to think that you are better than somebody is such an egotistical thing.
I'm not talking about extremisms like someone who abused, tortured, and or killed somebody versus someone who “followed all the rules.”
But there's genuinely no justification for bigotry. Bigotry is unnatural for our species.
It's an illness, a sickness, a plague, passed down from generation to generation.
It's taught.
You do not come into this world hating like that or thinking that you're superior to anyone, or any other species.
That is learned behavior, a learned sickness. It's mental illness.
And I'm so tired of people thinking there is any justification for their bigotry.
I'm actually considering going back to university for psychiatry because of this mental illness.
There's no justification for bigotry point blank.
It's your responsibility to unpack that, to unlearn that, to dissect it, to heal your body, your mind, your beliefs, your bloodline from that bigotry, that mental illness.
