The Business Wear Formula

So I just learned about this and wanted to share. I thought it was super neat and could help someone else.

In Business Wear there’s generally a formula made up of three main items:

Tops, Bottoms, and Shoes

If you’re going for Casual — all 3 items casual

If you’re going for Smart Casual — 1 item dressy, 2 items casual

If you’re going for Business Casual — 2 items dressy, 1 item casual

If you’re going for Business Formal — all 3 items business wear/dressy

Obviously, when using this formula, some common sense is important.

Wearing full dress pants and a blazer with fuzzy slippers isn’t going to give the Business Casual look you’re hoping for. Lol
